I have a new Granddog!

Well, my DDIL finally wore my oldest DS down! I got a call today that they had a new addition to the family! DDIL and my granddaughter have been wanting a dog in the worse way! The grandkids named her "Flower". She is 7 weeks old and is 1/2 Beagle & 1/2 King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. Here are some pictures of the new Granddog:

Another beagle lover here! My beagle is 15 l/2 and I still remember the day we got him.

I agree with the 100% Beagle people. I have 2 of them, and the puppy photos sure look familiar to me! In fact, my female is barking at something outside right now.

OMG she is precious! She sure does look beagle, but I can see the King Charles in her eyes - very expressive. Good combination, I would think.

I have a beagle/doxie mix and she is the love of my life! (don't tell hubby )
She is pushy and stubborn and somewhat obnoxious but you just can't help loving her, which seems to be the norm for beagles!

so cute i have beagle myself too he is a rescue beagle and had a horrible life before us but know he is the king of the castle and he will be up to the last breath he will take

Thanks everyone for your kind words!

I babysit the grandkids every Tuesday evening so oldest DS & DDIL can have date night. I told them to be sure to bring Flower Tuesday!

Part of the reason DDIL was able to talk DS into the new puppy was the fact that DS has gone back to school for his Master's. He probably feels a bit guilty for all the time he has to spend studying after coming home from work. Good work on DDIL's part!

Now I need to go up to the attic and get my portable play pen down! I don't want my 2 dogs scaring her!

Maryann, I hope you have a very magical trip. I will continue to keep you in my prayers. Tell DH, John, I said "hi"!
