:confused3 We will be in Disney mid August, staying at OKW and we'd like to try a few new restaurants while there. Sadly I think weve outgrown character dining and one person in our party deeply despises seafood so were trying to stay away from anything like that. Ive looked up a few places I just need your help! Were looking for American, Irish, maybe Mexican cuisine and wed rather not watch people walk around still in their swimsuits if you know what I mean!;)

Shutters-Caribbean Beach
California Grill-Contemporary
Grand Floridian Cafe-Grand Floridian
Maya Grill-Coronado Springs
Victoria & Alberts-Grand Floridian (Is it really 125$ per person?)
Gullivers Grill-Swan
Yachtsmans Steakhouse-Yacht & Beach
Captains Grill-Yacht Club
Cookes of Dublin, Planet Hollywood and Raglan Road-DT Disney

I put names in bold that really stood out to me!

I hope to be able to try Yachtsmen Steakhouse on our upcoming trip in October. I called on Saturday and disney told me it was too soon to make reservations.:rolleyes1 :headache:

I absolutely love Raglan Road! Cooke's of Dublin is more of a counter service version of Irish food. Raglan has great food with a very extensive menu and a wonderful party atmosphere when the entertainment starts.

3rd for Raglan Road.

You may wish to look at Boma or Jiko in Animal Kingdom Lodge. No characters here.

We love the Yachtsman and will be trying Raglan for the first time this Sept.

I also think Raglan Road would be good. I just spoke to a couple who were there recently and they said they had the best time. It is on our list for our next visit.

Another vote for Raglan Road! :cool1:

Haven't been to the others you mentioned but will be trying California Grille this trip. I also thought of Boma though. Very good food ... not too different but different enough to make it seem special.

The Yachtsman is a favorite of mine. They still hand cut their steaks daily and prepare all of their food fresh daily.

Have a great time whereever you decide.

My DH and I have a favorite - Yachtsmens Steakhouse. We try to go there every time. We love it! The steak is TDF.
