I have a dumb question

I don't think so either. There is a dining board. They are to Disney dining what this board is to Disney camping. Experts!

I'm reasonably sure you can't unless something's changed, but hopefully someone who's checked this out recently will chime in with a confirmation.

As of this past year you aren't even supposed to be able to use a TiW discount on takeout from TE.

Of course of the 2 times that we got takeout in November we got 2 different answers.

One time we were told we could get either a TiW or AP discount, as there was a button on the register for that. ;)

The other time we were told no takeout discounts at all.

So........ I guess the answer to that question is "it depends" :confused3

Can you use the Dining plan to get the Giddy up and Go?

According to this menu, you can use the Dining Plan for a Pizza, a flatbread sandwich, or for a Lone Rider (a two piece chicken dinner), but not the Giddyap And Go:

The Giddyap and Go would be the equivalent of five Lone Riders. If you wanted to use five entitlements, you could have the Giddyap and Go.

TCD, I do like the way you take the time to save & scan all that stuff, so it will be readily available. :thumbsup2

If ever there was a meal at Disney that was worth paying OOP for, it's the Giddyap n Go. If you have other meals to use your credits on, the $25 for the GAG will feed a family of 5 or 6 with leftovers to spare. Dirt cheap by Disney standards, and you can use your credits on a more expensive meal.

Agreed.

And, as an added bonus, I hear you can catch some nice fish with the leftovers.

Planning our June trip to the Fort. It'll be me, DH and our 7-yr old granddaughter. She lives in a different state so this will be our first time having her by ourselves for over a week since they moved after Katrina. I want this to be so special for us so I am planning and probably over-planning using the board and the Unofficial Guide to WDW. What is the Giddy Up and Go?

yes Trails End yes

If you're in a hurry I'd eat here. If you have time I wouldn't use a table credit here, I'd save it for someplace better.
