I have a Disney gift card question?

I wanted to know if I pick up a Disney Gift Card say at walgreens can I put 50.00 on it and then next week go back with the same gift card and add another 50.00 to it? I want to give these to the kids for there spending money so they don't have to carry cash and I don't have to keep their cash separate. I was thinking sense all 3 of them want to do the BBB (2dd's)and PL (1 DS) I could add this to their gift cards a little each payday.

I don't think you can add to one purchased at walgreenss, but I could be wrong. I buy mine at the disney store then keep adding to it, I can add up to 1500.00 on one card.

Arg that stinks. Our nearest Disney store is an outlet and is about 30 minutes from me. Does anyone know if the outlets have Disney Gift Cards? I guess I need to start making some calls.

could you put the cash in envelopes for each child and save it monthly and then buy the gift cards with the chash closer to your trip

I don't see why not ~ they don't seem any different to me than the ones I've purchased online and at DLR. I've added $$ to Disney GCs by calling DelivEARS ~ sorry search is down so I can't find the # I call, you provide them with the GC # you're adding to, a CC/debit card # to take the $$ from and they'll mail you a receipt.

Why don't you call your local Walgreen's and ask? It may be that their computer system is not set up to do that. Although it seems that they should be able to.
