I have run out of these......

twisted.jpg

They are called Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted

I brought back 10 ;) (really more like 25) from my trip to England in June....and I ate the last one last night.......without knowing it.:scared1: :scared1:

They are the Easter Creme eggs but in a chocolate bar and available all year round. God bless the English for contributing this to our world.

Does anyone have a home reciepe for these???Let me bring this back to Disney(not that it is really necessary on this board) Can I get these in Epcot?

Please no hurricane come to Canada.....I have no hunkering chocolate left.

Those do look good. I have never seen those before, but I do Know that the Brittish specialty stores in my area do carry alot of cadbury goods. You might find them there or perhaps even a Deningers store if you have those where you live , (I live in Burlington/Waterdown area). I will keep my eye out for those and let you know if I see them. But if my Wife happens to see them before I do , you'r out of luck :rotfl2: .

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Don.

My DH is from Ireland-so I totally understand chocolate emergencies(as well as crisp, bisto, and frey bentos emergencies-but that's another story-lol). I did not see them back in Sept.( and I would have noticed-my DH LOVES cream eggs), but they might have added them-not sure. I am going on the 20th so if you would like, I could look for you. But for those "can not wait!!!!" emergencies I use 2 websites.

www.foodireland.com

www.britishfoods.com

Both have great selections, but I prefer the first more(maybe it's just a personal bias;) ) They have a whole section on cadbury chocolate-which has become my absolute favorite

Hope this helps you satisfy your fix!

What part of Canada? Sugar mountain in Ontario carries the English, Irish and South African bars...or at least they did last Christmas.

there are some really great English chocolate bars...
but still snickers will always have my heart....(probably in more ways than one...but you only live once)..

Oooh i fancy one now!

Maybe i will just pop to the shops and buy one ;)

(sorry, shouldn't rub it in!)

I just returned from WDW and didn't see it...sorry! I was also dismayed to find out the candy offered for sale in the UK Tea Shop was not available using DDP snack credits as I had saved up a few to use there. :(

Hi Beachwamer

I live in the UK and I may be able to get some of the twisted bars i can see if they are still available, and send them to you. We prefer American chocolate ourselves,Baby Ruths and pay days to name a few.

To heck with strollers and fridges...sounds like we need to get a candy swap going! :thumbsup2

Sounds like you two have a basis for a prisoner exchange.

My favorite are the Stratos bars from Norway. My FIL has these and we love them. It is like chocolate with little air holes and they melt in your mouth. Oh My sooooooooo good.

I used to candy swap with a friend from Liverpool. I would send him Charms Blow Pops and he sent me Cadbury Flake. Ahh, those were the days.

I'll do a swap with you, Creme Egg Twisted (which I'll admit I was slightly disappointed with!!) for bottles of Mountain Dew :)

:goodvibes

Do they still have Chomp bars?

10p for a thin stick of carmel wrapped in chocolate....

my mouth is watering...

Wow. In a minute of morning insanity I post this "emergency".....I went to close up my cottage for the season and find 2 pages of on the thread when I get back.

Thank you everyone for your support. :flower3: :grouphug:

I live 10 minutes away from a Hershey's factory....well until December (when it closes and they make Recees Peanut Butter cups in Mexico)....and still I want more....

Ok Kate...That was mean....but you did help with planning some of my trip to London.....so a big thank you for that. If you want PM me your address and I will get some Fruit Loops over to you.

I stayed in London in The City for three weeks in a hotel with the only close restaurant a Weatherspoons Pub.....Creme Egg Twist was a decadent dessert.

P. S. Mountain Dew in Canada does not have caffine in it...the stuff in the US does....the US stuff is much better...
