I have a check-out question

Please help! I want to know if on the day we are to check out of ASMo if we can extend the time. I believe check out is at 11, but we want to go to Typhoon Lagoon that morning and will want to take a shower and change afterwards. We are only planning on staying until noon, can we extend check out until 2pm? Will they ask us to pay more?

I'm not sure if you can extend check-out. They'll probably ask you to check your luggage with Bell Services so that they can clean your room for someone checking in. It's worth asking about, though. All pool areas have changing rooms, etc. You can put your suits in plastic bags and change into clean clothes at the All Stars before leaving for your flight.

I am not sure about your particular resort, but when I checked into WL I explained to them that my flight on the last day did not leave until 7pm. They made a note in the system and asked me to remind them the day before. When I called the day before, they said they could extend the check out on our room because they put a family in the room that was not expected until 11:00pm. They did not charge us anything... even though I had told them I was more than willing to pay. I think if you give them plenty of warning, they will try to make it work.

Thanks for your responses. What we are planning to do is switch resorts from ASMo to WL and the only was TL fits into my plans is to do it the morning of our switch. (b/c I want to do TL in the morning) So check out is at 11 and check in is probably 4 so what do we do? I hope ASMo can extend for me or the facilities at TL are OK!

We asked for late check-out at POR last spring and were able to keep our room until 1pm. I asked about it at check-in and they said no, called the night before check-out, said no. Called the morning of check-out, Sure no problem. So if they say no, keep asking.

Since you are switching resorts, ask at WL about early check-in. You may get lucky. I'd call them the morning of check-in, your room may be ready very early!

Also, TL has great changing facilities!

We had a late check out of 1 pm at the ASMU just last August without a problem. But if you are transfering resorts that day , you may want to consider just to have your luggage moved by disney to the WL and then just go to the WL straight from TL and check in there instead of going to the allstars to get your luggage and check out and then go to WL. that's what I would do.

We have switched resorts. I brought 3 laundry bags to hang in the closet,darks,whites & pinks. Then the night before the move we packed the laundry in suitcases & what was left of clean cloths in another. We called the night before to have bellservices come a & switch our luggage to AKL. You really should head to The WL after TL or you will be wasting so much time travleing.
