I have a bad feeling about this...(venting)

I would say go and make them suffer, however, I would hate to pay that much for dinner and have to listen to people complain the whole time.

Yes, make them suffer!!! When they start complaining have another drink!

We are meeting up with inlaws on vacation for a "nice" dinner. Someone told my SIL California Grill is nice, so that is the only place they want to go. I booked the reservation.

What's the problem? YOU were not in charge of this decision. The in-laws want to do it, so let them do it, enjoy your meal and try to have as much fun as possible.

And quite honestly, you can do an "I told you so" much later.

I think I would be on the phone with them & start reading the menu (saying everything sounds good:rotfl:)
make sure you read what you don't think that they would want most then do the oh wait you don't like any of that -- then have a hard time finding something that they might eat:confused3

When do you go?

Post up how the meal went.

You have done everything you can, and you are doing the right thing. Make your ADRs and go and watch them wait outside to go where they want.

I hope that your ILs don't change their minds at the last minute. Since you already have ADRs, you know that it is one of the few Disney restaurants that charge $25/head for cancellations made at less than 24 hrs. before the ADR time.
