I have 2 afternoons - where should I go?

I've visited Disney World many times with my family. I am going to Orlando next week for a conference and have 2 afternoons/evenings and a 2-day after 2pm, non-park-hopper ticket. I am going to MK one day. Where would you go the other day? I was thinking Epcot, but now I'm second guessing myself.

I would vote Epcot, but since you have been many times you will know better than me. Do you have a favorite park or favorite ride you don't want to miss? If you don't have a preference I would vote Epcot because I love that park and there are so many options if you want to eat dinner in the park.

Epcot ... a ride on Soarin' and Space Ship Earth, a soft drink at Club Cool and wander the World Showcase enjoying shows, snacks and drinks from around the world ... sounds heavenly

Epcot - FP Soarin, Test Track Single Rider, Dinner at Le Cellier or Tutto Italia, Tipsy Ducks in Love while I watch Illuminations, NBA playoffs at ESPN afterwards, then possibly Jelly Rolls after ESPN depending on what time my wake up was the following day

I would go with Epcot as well. Being able to explore the World Showcase at my own pace and on my own terms would be a really great way to spend an afternoon. Also lots of great choices for dinner there as well.

Ok, I'll bite, and ask why are you second guessing yourself? What's making you hesitate to committing to Epcot? I would be torn between Epcot and Animal Kigdom, and probably favor AK, as long as I got to see Wishes when I went to MK. (I need a good fireworks fix) Even though I love illuminations, I feel like Epcot is lacking for me these days. I enjoyed it more when it first opened. I love FOTLK and I love Kilimanjaro Safari, and I just love the feeling and vibe of AK.

Another vote for EPCOT unless you answer @MataHari22's question with something compelling. I would totally be doing a mini bar hop and chatting with the CM bartenders, other guests.

If you don't want to buy another ticket, you could always do a monorail bar hop and hit Minzer's, Trader Sam's, Territory Lounge, etc.
