Granted I don't have to do it too often so that's good.

I am up in Orlando last night and tonight for a seminar. I haven't been able to sleep...last night was horrible. The A/C is warm, the bed is lumpy, I hit the wall going to the bathroom in the middle of the night and I think I got a total of 5 hours of sleep last night. Now coming from someone that has been getting a minimum of 10 hours a night for the last month, that's not cool... I was hoping I would be so tired tonight I would just conk out. Nope!!! I am exhausted, hot and wide awake. I am so thirsty so I keep drinking sips of water, which in turn makes me have to get up....

.... I want my own bed tomorrow night!!!!

My first night out of town I'd always wake up 2-3 times.

But, I loved traveling for work. Got to see Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, weekend trip to London, Mexico, Canada, and all over the US.

I feel your pain.... I always thought traveling for business would be so much fun until I had to start doing it.

One word...Nyquil.

Okay, a few more. I was traveling last week and I had to go to Wal-mart and buy a $10 fan to keep me cool and provide white noise. I can't tell you how many $10 fans I own :-)

I think if I had to do it more often, I was not pregnant and I got to go to cool places it might be different!! I have gone to Scottsdale, Orlando, Mishawaka IN and Boston for work in the last 3 years... that's it. Scottsdale was cool and Orlando was the first time when I had time after to go to wdW but otherwise.... Give me my bed.... and my hallway to the bathroom, my toe hurts!

ETA: I wish I thought about Tylenol PM, I think that's ok to take. I took regular tylenol with hopes it would get rid of the headache and relax me for sleep. I didn't know my room would be so hot, it was ok last night I don't know what's different tonight. It's an older hotel so the A/C unit is plenty loud for white noise plus I use ear plugs at home and it's just natural for me to use the on the road.

OH - your toe! I had a whole different vision of hitting the wall going to the bathroom! ;)

Sorry - couldn't resist!

I love to travel for work. It is a given though that the first night sleep is not the best.

I like traveling for work.. wish I could do it more... especially since we have a site not to far from Disney!! :rolleyes1
