...People can see how much I breathe :jester: :jester:

Howabout you?

It's so cold.

Otherwise, it is great to wear clothes that cover all of my many body faults.

You don't have to worry about that much here in Houston since we usually don't have much of a winter here. I'm silly, if it's cold enough I like to see myself breathe!

I like winter. I was born in winter, maybe that's why I like it.:)

I don't mind if people see me breathe. It's my way of proving I'm actually alive.;)

I hate winter because people can see me shake, shudder and shimmy from the wind. Brrrrrrrrrr. I'm shakin' just thinking about it. :p

I'm always cold (heck I'm cold now)

I have to put on layers upon layers and feel liked a stuffed potato

Shoveling snow

Driving in snow

Driving in ice

Traffic is always worse

The days are so short

I go to work in the dark

I come home from work in the dark

Did I mention the cold?

Oh my! I never thought about people being able to see me breathe in the winter...... Other than driving on icy roads, I really don't mind winter. I love sitting in the bay window watching it snow. I love not having an outdoor garden and flowers to tend to daily. I love being able to wear sweatshirts and sweaters. And I really don't mind it getting dark so early, I enjoy "snuggling in" and lighting a few candles and making a pot of coffee for the evening. It's just driving to/from work on icy roads that I don't especially care for, but thankfully I only live 6 miles from where I work so it's not too bad!!:bounce:

Sorry to hear winter getting a bad rap!

I like winter for so many reasons...

Sweaters and turtlenecks
Layers -- no one can tell where I begin and end (and for me that's a good thing!)
Snow angels
Snow ball fights
Hot chocolate after being outside
Not needed to justify sitting inside all day in your pjs in front of a roaring fire doing absolutely nothing
Ice skating
Deer tracks in the back yard (and sometimes the deer as well)
The smell of snow

I hate two things about winter. It lasts too long, and I when I have to be out in it and can't get any more layers on.

snowy and icy weather make an hour commute MUCH longer !

... but if I don't have to drive in it I don't mind the snow :D

I really don't mind driving in it, I don't mind the snow and ice. It's the crazy drivers that don't drive in it and don't know what to do that drives me nuts and cause accidents.

Folks, if you aren't used to it. Find a parking lot, an empty one, and practice. Get used to it, please. lol

You can never get too excited about the plans you have made because they may be cancelled "due to inclement weather"

Snow days. While I love having my kids home to go sledding and do hot chocolate and things, we always plan to go to WDW as soon as school gets out in June. I always worry about the snow days they have to make up at the end of the year.

Good things about winter: SKIING!!! Sledding, cozy nights in front of the fire! Snowball fights, hot cocoa, hiding under a bulky sweater;)
