I hate when people assume incorrectly -- rant warning!

Well, to make you all feel better, I was 35 when I had DS#1 & 42 when I had DS#2! I just can't wait to hear what people have to say to me when I take my little guy to pre-school. As it is, I take him to Speech & Occupational Therapy through the school district & there are 2 grandma's that take their grandkids there & I don't look much younger than one of those grandma's!

I was already the "oldest" mom when I took my now 8 y/o to pre-school!

I have one for you. My parents are only 4 months apart in age. They had my younger brother when they were both 39, almost 40. When the years went by, virtually everyone in the neighborhood thought our father was his Grandfather and our mother was.... get this... the MAID!

Mom is from Japan, accent and everything. Dad is of scottish/irish heritage.

It had initally irritated the heck out of Mom, but she decided to use it to her advantage when she didn't want to deal with a nosy neighbor or salesperson. She'd answer the door and tell whoever that the lady of the house wasn't in, could she take a message.

Works like a charm on the phone too!
