... and never thought I would be but the Disney transportation is not what we had 5 years ago. We waited a long time for buses at the resort and at the parks. Many people complained but the answer was always the same, a bus comes every 20 minutes unless it is full then it goes straight to the parks or resorts. That means some people wait 40 minute. Also at the end of the nights when 6 or 7 bus loads are waiting and they send a bus in every 20 minutes it take a while to get back. it is a shame because it would be so easy to fix if they wanted to. The resort did have a CM out each morning keeping track of when and how many buses came thru. We were at POR.

What you have posted might be what should happen but when you sit at a bus stop in a resort and each morning 2 Epcot buses follow each other through and you are not going to Epcot you sit and wait. And getting home is a different story. 5 years ago I said Disney tranportation was the best thing, today I do not agree.

Leaving any park at closing time is going to be chaos. I wouldn't expect to get back to a resort quickly.

We were at POFQ last week. We had no bus troubles, but I did notice our buses were almost full leaving POFQ, so by the time they got to POR they could only fit a few people. The POR bus stops were always very full. You are right, it probably needs to be looked at.

I'm another one that hates to be negative with anything Disney.

BUT, The buses at BWV really bother me. I don't think the buses

should be shared with 4 other resorts. I have ,on numerous

occasions, waited 40 minutes for a bus to MK and AK. And then

the bus does the Swan/Dolphin route for another 20 minutes or

so. I don't like to spend any additional money when I stay at

BWV but I now rent a car when staying there. If only for the trip

to AK and MK. I agree something needs to be done.

I actually think the bus system has improved over the last several years. We have been to WDW at least once every year since 1996. Looking back through old trip reports, I find that it has been 4 years (back to 2000) since I had a note mentioning a long wait for a bus. Maybe I have just been lucky, but I have no complaints about the bus system.

We were at Swan last month and Dolphin a year ago. During both stays, only one time each did the S/D, YC/BC bus also stop at BW, and several times S/D had a bus to themselves. It seems that BW sometimes got a bus to itself, often shared with YC/BC and only rarely did the whole Epcot Cluster share a single bus. Also, the sequence was Swan, Dolphin YC/BC or the reverse, then BW so from BW it was straight to whichever park. This was our experience for stays during early March and mid Nov. It only takes one or two 40 min. waits to leave a bad impression, though.

Bill a lot of the times when the bus gets over to BWV it is full, and they only take on so many or by pass the stop altogether. BWV is supposed to be a deluxe resort, I don't feel we should have to wait a long time at a bus stop burning valuable vacation time. I don't mind sitting by the pool ar at the parks at my own leisure, but sitting either on a bus or at a bus stop is not my cup of tee.

But what you DON'T see is that there are OTHER buses that are dispatched to Riverside ONLY.

So, you'll have one bus going to FQ and South Depot. Then you'll have another bus going to West, North, East, South. And sometimes a THIRD bus that goes South, West, North East. All at once.
