I still turn on several lights when my husband is working at night or out of town. I don't know why. I guess I feel like a burglar would see the lights on and choose another house or something.

I have electric candles all over my house(in the windows) that I bought at the dollar store and I turn them all on at night.And I also have a 25 watt bulb in the floor lamp in the living area that I have on all night.

You'd be suprised how much light these things give off.And of course I make sure it's all locked up good and tight.

We did have a spot light installed outside but since there's an apartment place next door I don't leave it on at night.I mean who wants a 200 watt bulb shining in their room all night long...

OT - Yo quiero mas practica...my brain is far to old and rigid to be subjecting it to a new language! Any chance you'll be visiting Chile any time in the near future? I'm on the hunt for a new teacher (one class a week isn't cutting it!)

I wish!! My vacations are mostly at Disney these days but I would love to make it to other Spanish-speaking countries (I've been to Spain and Mexico).
