I HATE THE IRS WE JUST GOT A NOTICE IN THE MAIL STATEING WE OWE 3998.23 I WAS SO SURE WE WOULD GET A REFUND THIS YEAR. DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG WE WENT WITHOUT GETTING A REFUND FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS WE HAD TO PAY, AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE IDIOTS AT JACKSON HEWITT THEY'RE IDIOTS I JUST WANT TO SCREAMMMMMMMMMMM GAWD IF I WAS A VOODOO PRIEST I WOULD HEX THE IRS

I feel your pain
My DH & I have paid in over $2000 each yr for the last 3 yrs
Final bought a house this past summer so hopefully if the 2002 tax return isnt a refund 2003 will be
plus we are having another baby in 7/03
just hoping to break even this year

When my mom filed last year she was expecting a refund of over $700. She never got it. Repeated calls to the IRS haven't told her much. They said they needed a copy of something and she sent it to them and they told her they would get back to her. Last month she called again and they told her not to call back anymore and that they would let her know when they figured it out. She's expecting to get the same amount back this year too, but she's not sure if she'll get it since she never got her refund from last year. There sure don't seem to be very nice people over at the IRS. The funny thing is, my mom's sister works for the IRS and she can't help my mom get her money back either. It's insane!

I think you should be mad at congress they set the tax rates, all the IRS does is collect it

"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT, IF MY HUSBAND MADE THIS AMOUNT EACH YEAR I WOULD KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT-MY HUSBAND DON'T MAKE HALF AS MUCH AS YOUR'S MAKE AND YOUR COMPLAINING ABOUT IT- GIVE ME A BREAK

I SAID---

LADY I DON'T GIVE A HOT DA@# IF MY HUSBAND MADE A MILLION EACH YEAR IF I WANT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT PAYING TAXES I WILL. IT'S NOT YOUR MONEY SO WHO THE HE@@ DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TELLING ME TO QUIT COMPLAINING.

MY HUSBAND ONLY MAKES 26,000 A YEAR IF ANYONE SHOULD COMPLAIN ITS ME

IF YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH YOUR HUSBAND WAGES THEN TELL HIM TO SEEK BETTER EMPLOYMENT AND GET RID OF THE COW HE'S MARRIED TO, BECAUSE IT'S OBVIOUS HIS CHOICES SUCK

My sister works for the IRS and they are held up to a much higher criteria and NO they cannot help relatives or friends, take it from one who KNOWS...

HEY!! I worked for Jackson Hewitt last year!!



Of course, this year I am working in a CPA's office...........hhhmmmmm.....wonder why.

I could say a LOT more but I don't want to be sued for slander!!

I can say that I loved the people I worked with though. They really were nice people......

OMG PrincessAriel, that is too funny. I can not believe that she had the audacity to tell you that since your husband makes more than hers that you shouldn't complain!!! I can never think of witty come backs at the time that I get into heated conversations. I always think of them hours later while in bed replaying the situation in my mind!!!
