I hate the Internet

But on the other hand, it IS the best place to complain about the internet.

I hate when it is broken.

The other day during a bad storm it went out. I assumed it was storm related and it would come back.

I felt like I was living in the stone ages. I had to manually turn lights on and off, I couldn't stream anything, if I had a question I would have had to go to the library for an answer, etc.

Then I started noticing that no one on the neighborhood Facebook page was complaining about the internet being down and realized it was just my house. I found the power supply to the router had failed but luckily had one that worked.

That was a long 3 hours with only cellular contact to the outside world.

I would not want to go back to a non connected time.

I like the internet. I like that I can control (mostly) what I see to limit things to just positive contributions.
