I hate it when I hear gunshots

Manda, I am but not so much. It's when it wakes me up at night hearing a dozen shots from not that far away that scares me. Like tonight.

That would scare me, too.

We live by some sort of police training facility and I can often hear the gunshots from there, but early in the morning. Any other time, I get worried.

I live in a good neighborhood in the middle of not so good neighborhoods. Sometimes it spills over. Before I went to bed again, I could hear the police helicopters flying around.
I made doubly sure my doors and windows were locked and took the phone with me to bed.

That is very scary! I do hear guns in the spring time and it scares the heck out of me. I live near farms and in the spring the farmers use potato guns to scare the mice out of the fields, but it makes me jump every time! I would wager that it scares me more than the mice, lol. But thankfully that's all it is.
