I Hate Face Book

My DD has a face book acct. Her friends play one of those random question games. Well I just checked her acct and it asked a friend of hers if she would like to **** my DD. I swear, I hate this stuff. I reported it. Does anyone know if I can get it off, I hate that on my DD page, she is just a teenager. It is disgusting.

You can block certain applications as well as delete the post. Simply run your mouse to the upper right side of the post and an X or some options will appear and should make it possible.

You have to be logged in to your child's account, not just viewing it from another account to do what the PP said. Delete and block.

I can access my DD's account at anytime. It's our rule that I have her passwords to facebook and her phone. I just go in and block and delete.

Yep, same rule here. I am just not very Face Book savvy. She wasn't happy about it either and I don't think her friends really knew this would happen. I saw all sorts of comments on how nasty the questions were after some investigating.

FTR, I've heard reliable people claim they never used the application I suspect you're having an issue with. If it is out of character, it could be a virus.
My poor cousin had a porn worthy post on her wall one day I had to report .

Thanks for posting that OP. I have seen a few questions from that app on my DDs page. They have all been very mellow so far but I am going to check into it.

Don't hate Facebook, hate the general situation. Facebook is just another option or a tool to communicate. This is no different the mobile phones/texts, MySpace, one on one communication, etc, and if yo don't think it happens outside Facebook you're mistaken.

I don't like those applications either, but I do like Facebook. The one site I HATE is Formspring. My DS15 does not have one, but some of his friends do. It is terrible!! People can ask all kinds of awful stuff anonymously. Some of the stuff I've read on his friends' Formspring pages made my hair stand up on end.
