I hate cancer

Lost my dad when I was 15, lost my wonderful Sister in law 2 1/2 years ago to it.

To all of us who have watched a love one die, to all of you have attacked it and won, and to all of you currently battling it, Please know you are loved and go enjoy life. Life is good, don't let cancer make you mad or get you down.
My sister in law told me to make sure to take time for myself. That is the one and only thing she regretted.

Make sure you take that time, and let everyone around you know that you care for them.

I hate it too. I don't have it, but it has effected so many I know, and my BF lost his dad to it a few years ago. It's awful.

I hate it too.
My school has lost 2 kids to it in the 3 years I've been there. My town has lost teachers, coaches, girl scout leaders, mentors, and just plain old wonderful people. My grampa is being treated currently for prostate cancer, my other grampa lost an ear to melanoma a year ago yesterday, and my uncle had to have major surgery to save him from serious colon cancer 9 years ago. My 5th grade teacher battled cancer when I was in 1st grade and won. She's got to be one of the sweetest, most inspirational people I know. We have family friends battling cancer now, and one of my other friend's dads is dying of brain cancer. My little sister lost her close friend to brain cancer when they were in kindergarten.
Cancer sucks. It robs so many people of so much. But I know that in the past year, watching so many people I care about and love battle such a monster I've grown so much stronger. I really hope they find a cure soon.
