Wow.. I just realized today that I've been away from the PTR for almost a month..
Things have been crazy around here but seem to be settling down somewhat..
My mom seems to be feeling somewhat better but she still has the paralysis to one side of her face..
Im hoping she's back to herself soon.
My dad just hasnt been feeling well lately and having problems with getting dizzy.. He's going on 79.. I worry so much for my parents and it just breaks my heart and worries me when things arent going right with them.. Apparently he is having problems with his kidney.. he only has one as the other one was taken out years ago, so I am worried with finding out that his other one is having some problems..
Its funny because we have had so many things that were going to happen and places we were going before our Disney trip and Ive been using them as countdowns of some sorts.. Since the last time I posted my next milestone was our trip to New York City.. It was "The Bomb"!.. We had the time of our lives!
We stayed at Doubletree in Times Square.. We literally would walk out of the hotel every day and we were "in" Times Square.. We walked around and shopped so much.. we went to a NY Yankee vs Red Sox game.. rode the subway.. Looked for the Naked Cowboy (never found him til the last day when we were in the shuttle heading to the airport
) Ate some yummy pizza and subs.. saw The Macys Fireworks in New York.. spent a day in Connecticut at my cousins house (the whole family came over- my aunt and uncle, cousins and my brother who I havent seen in around 25 years).. I truly want to go back to NY..
My next milestone is my granddaughters birthday party next Saturday.. She will be 2! Then our garage sale is the following weekend and then I can finally start preparing for our Disney trip.. I have tshirts I want to work on but just havent had the chance, so I really need to concentrate on that once I am able to..
I'll post some pictures tomorrow of our NY trip and then post my day 5 that I left off with.. Cant wait to talk about Day 5!
