I had to post this story about my DD and Disney

She was super excited to see the Disney-Pixar cake challenge on the food network. We were talking about what cakes they might make before we knew much about it. She goes I hope they make a Wall-E cake. I said really that would be cool. She then says Mom(as dramatic as a 6 year old can do) it is a Disney-Pixar movie. She said it like duh mom you should know that. I literally put my hand to my heart pretended to wipe away a tear and told her she made me proud. I then got Mom you are such a Disney freak, but I am glad since I get to go to Disney alot then!

I thought you guys would understand how it touched me that she does listen when I talk about Disney.

Thanks for sharing that . . . it's always funny when our kids get to the point where they're old enough to make fun of us . . . and with us. Good to see your Disney gene has apparently been passed along to your daughter!

The Disney gene lives strong.

I think my mother is sincerly regretting passing on that Disney gene, but since i am the only one she can talk to about it properly, i guess she like it. I was the one pushing her to get DVC etc. so i am naturally the favorite child!

Its great when you can make magical Disney memories at home as well as WDW.
