I had to lead a discussion group today for my womens group, and it was nerve wracking...

People actually making comments on what I had to say, taking notes, and the like..

I was petrified! I actually took a deep breath and did the best I could.

I have never had to do this before, and I was so scared, nervous, but I survived!

Good for you. I do this once a month in front of my guild. It actually does get easier each time you do it. Make sure your prepared and all will go smoothly.

I am a very shy person and this has helped me a lot. I can talk to anyone and not worry any more. What's the worst that could happen, they'd be bored - big deal, it's their loss.

No one would ever believe today, that I am a shy person, but you just do what you have to. My motto has always been, you can do anything if you try and I believe that. While I would not do brain surgery, public speaking isn't a big deal for me any more and I;m sure you'll be better next time.

I hate to speak publicly. I don't know how I ever survived my speech class. It's too nerve wracking!

I bet you did real well, Cindy.:)

Jason, that naked thing doesn't work. I tried that during one speech, and it just made me giggle.:o:teeth:

Good for you!!! I know how difficult it is. Even in school I always hated those stupid oral book reports, ugh!!!

Yikes! I misread the topic. I thought it said something about "public spanking." Sorry.
