The disney gods told me to book a vacation, and so i did!

This is my 16 th Disney vacation so far, and 9 th to Disneyland Paris.

Im going to stay at Sequoia Lodge, lake view!

I have stayed at New York, Newport Bay Club and Santa Fe, but Sequoia Lodge wins over me again and again, this will be my 4 th stay here.

My family and friends thinks im nuts, but i dont care, im a 100% Disney fan.

Ill be at Sequoia from the 10 th to the 14 th of July, is there any disboard members staying there in this timeframe?

Btw. i got to go, im going to the Le Mans 24 hour race in 6 hours!!!!

Ah who cares what family and friends think

Lots of people ALWAYS go to Spain or Tenerife etc for a beach/pool holiday and Disneyland is far more exciting!

Exactly!! There was a family featured on my local news last year. They come to the same hotel at Sandbanks beach every single year and have been for over 30 years and are now bringing their grandkids as well as their grown-up kids. It's an expensive hotel too and I remember remarking to DH they'd be able to go to Disney for half the price and more than double the fun!!

I just think its different priorities... I have a friend who said she'd rather die than go to Disneyland and is always teasing me about going there but she's not at all worried about staying in a 7* hotel in Dubai etc...

People like different things I guess, but I wouldn't change mine for anything...

Dubai is beautiful, but so is Disney, I think it's nice to be able to enjoy lots of different parts of the world, but Disney is jsut so easy, and a guaranteed good, fun time.

You know the hotels are nice, the people are nice (I was so scared before - and during! - my trip to marrakech).

I'd love to see the whole world, and have seen lots of it, but I still love Disney, and will return many times!

I don't get why some people have such a snobbery about it....Vegas is way more tacky and glitzy! But then thats why I love it so much! Same for Dubai really..
