I had to cancel Sept Trip-but......

We had to pay way too many bills this month, so I suggested canceling our Sept trip. DH agreed it was best. He said too bad it was not in November, because he would be getting a bonus.
I moped around for a few days, so he suggested calling DVC and just checking on availablity just for kicks. So after an hour on the phone with DVC, I had rebooked to late Oct-Early November. My CM was sooo patient with me trying a lot of different resorts. I had to change from Saratoga to All Stars for one day, but I was cool with that.

But I had no dinner ressies. I called Disney Dining and I actually got better times than I had in September. They had everything except LeCellier. We will be trying Coral Reef instead. They also had Liberty Tree on a MNSSHP night. The CM said that I should play the Lotto, because she had just tried to get Coral Reef for someone else 5 minutes prior. I am sooo excited - again. The Lord really wanted me to go to Disney!

See, everything happens for a reason! This way you can enjoy a wonderful trip in cooler less busy times and not feel guilty!!

You know, same thing happened to us last year. DH had a work emergency so our Sept. free dining trip was canceled ... then a discount code magically appeared in my email inbox and I was able to re-schedule for just 3 weeks later. It was the best thing EVER. Got all my ADRS, spent my bday and Halloween at the parks, parks were quiet and the weather was perfect. I am totally jealous of you, actually. Wish we were going then instead of the tortuous heat and potential crowds. We'll get free dining out of the way but I have promised myself NEVER again!
