I had an interesting conversation with a CM at MGM

always quiet said:
When I see kids, at least 8 to 10 being pushed (and yet they can hop off that thing and run to the next ride), I'm sorry, this just isn't right. IF there is no medical reason why they need to be pushed, than they need to be out of that thing and walk! Think of the parents who's children are handicapped - I bet they would give ANYTHING to have their children up and walking.

IN YOUR OPINION it isn't right, that doesn't mean everybody else has to believe the same. Also just because you see a child get up and run to a ride doesn't mean they are not handicapped or unhealthy in any way. Worry about your kids and pay no attention to the other children for you have NO CLUE how to parent anybody else's child.

And for the record - my almost 8 year old - who APPEARS healthy to people who know nothing about children with physical, emotional or developmental disabilities - will be in his stroller. My concern is his comfort and enjoyment - I don't give a hoot about the people that have no business judging us..

Yet another 'whose kids should be in strollers' debate, hey? 3 in one week is about 2 too many, since they always seem to take the turn this one took.

Enough already!
