I had a Pin and let it expire!! now what

oh no, I had a pin code for 40% off deluxe resorts, and I didn't realize it expired, I went to book last night online and found out.
I am hoping I get another one, or I may call and see if they will still let me use it.
has this happened to anyone and did they still let you apply the code? it expired 1 month ago

from a friend going in Oct w/DD and DGkids. Her daughter found a mailing with an expired offer on it. Called & told the CM that the paper had no expiration date on it. CM asked her to fax it so she could confirm that. She WHITED OUT the exp date and faxed it over. CM called back, apologized & upgraded her to AKL CL for the inconvenience!!!!!! Now why can't that ever happen to me?!?!?

I was just going to tell them it expired on xx date, would you still let me apply it? and hope for the best!

I don't think you will be able to use it. I booked online while a public discount was out. I thought I applied it online, but something wasn't adding up with the price of the trip, so I called and asked them if the discount was applied. It was a couple days after the discount expired and they pretty much told me that it was my fault for night doing it right and I just had to wait and see if a public discount comes out again.

I guess it depends who you talk to, I had a coupon expired April 30 or May 1 and I called yesterday and the guy was basically telling me I was out of luck. I was very polite but no matter what I said I couldn't get a discount. My dumb mistake anyway, but still.

I feel it's totally my job to tell my friend when what they are doing is obviously wrong. I hope a friend would tell me if I was. Dishonesty is something I try to avoid. My mother used to switch price tags on items when I was a kid to get them cheaper. We could afford full price. It's wrong.

if you think you are the arbiter of right and wrong, be my guest. I've learned over my way too many years, that I can't control others, only myself. I try to leave judging to God. My guess is He's usually right, can't say the same for myself!

Both my husband and I received different PIN emails recently. His expired on April 30 and mine expired on May 5. I called on May 1 to book with his PIN (I didn't check carefully--thought they were both May 5) and they wouldn't let me use it. It was for free dining! I did get to use my room discount but it wasn't as good as the free dining offer for us. Our dates are earlier than the public free dining offer so that won't work either. Oh well, my mistake. It did teach me to read the details carefully!!

Wow, I would never have the stones to do that. I would wonder what would come back to bite me in the bottom later

The same happened to me - I got a 30% off PIN by mail and waited to long to use it - when I called, teh CM would not allow me to use it because it was expired. About 4 weeks later I got an email PIN for Free Dining - which ended up saving me more $ than the 30% room rate discount anyways!
