Abercrombie & Fitch (I think they own Hollister too) has actually released the following particularly offensive request aimed at the a the Jersey Shore cast. So I've been to A & F and the best words I can use to describe their stuff is painfully white & upper middle class. It's in everything, from the kids who work there who seem hand picked to have a very Angelo all American look to the partially nude hairless pictures of very northern European models in all the ads, on the bags and on the walls of the place. I've never been a fan of the whole preppie thing but whatever, sometimes my kids would ask for something and sometimes I'd get it.
SO I used to be a kid who would flock to the Jersey Shore during the summers and the one thing most kids there DID NOT have in common was being Northern European upper middle class... THOSE kids did the Hamptons.
So imagine my surprise while I was getting ready to take the kids shopping for back to school stuff today,(we start 8/29) and just happened to sit down to look at the news to and realized we were all uninvited to buy or even wear their stuff. Nice, I guess I won't trouble them with my money then. As I recall American Eagle is in the same mall.
