Gosh, it takes a year to get tickets for The View?

Hope you and your friends have a grand time!!!

Sounds like fun! My husband and I go to a lot of talk shows when we get tickets. My mom and my sisters and I go t the cooking shows! I haven't been to The View though. Tell us all about it and hope you have a great time with some warmer weather.:)

Yes, I got ticketed recently for viewing the neighbor's daughter....

Oh, my mistake. I misread the original posting. Ignore. ;)

WOOHOO!! I just went last month (plus, I used to work for the studios). Here's a few tips: Get there earlier than recommmended, just like the letter says. They do overbook, and people do show up as early as 3 hours before the suggested time.

On that same note, once you arrive, you will be waiting outside until about one hour before they start taping. The studios are next to the river, so it is extremely cold out there.Dress warm and wear comfortable shoes (or boots. No one will see your feet on camera). You will be standing almost the entire time until you get inside the actual studio, which is about a half an hour before taping.

And lastly, think about bringing something to eat if you are having an early breakfast before your travel. If you are at the 11 o'clock taping, and arrive a couple of hours in advance, you may not be able to have an actual "meal" until around 1ish, and standing in the cold trying to keep warm, takes a lot of energy.

Have a great time!

Have fun!!

We went to a taping in 2005. Rosie O'Donnell was still on the show at that point. It was fun. They gave away Roombas that day. :)

That sounds like a lot of fun! I am jealous!! Please report back and let us know how it went!

congrats on the tix - curious though....

is it suggested you wear "certain" colors?

it seems whenever the audience is shown, they're very colorful

just curious!
