I got the greatest phone call.

As some of you know my 4 yr. old nephew, Gabriel, has a speech problem. For a while, up 'til around the time he turned 3, we were not sure he would ever talk. He has made GREAT strides in the last year and lately has become quite a mimic, repeating alot of what you say to him. He has also learned the dreaded "no" word! LOL!

The phone rang around 7:30 and it was my sister. She said Gabe wanted to say something to me. I then heard his little voice say "Goodnight uncle Dom." I tried to say good night back but phone conversations with Gabe are usually short and sweet! I can not remember a better phone call!!! Made my week!!

Can't wait 'til I can take him to the parks and start him collecting pins. He knows the fab 5 and most of the Pooh characters. He also reconizes the Disney logo. I've been teaching him well!

Great story. We don't have any children, but I get the biggest kick out of my grown up nephews when they call me Aunt Mickey. I'm 57 years old and I will always be Aunt Mickey to them. We have taken all of them to WDW at least once, and the last time we stayed at the Cabins, my 22 yo nephew loved that he could come back 'home' and get in the back door so he didn't wake us up.
Before long you will be sharing some WDW nephew stories with us.
