I Got My Yellow Luggage Tags

After listening to all the posts of how Magical Express wasn't sending the luggage tags out early enough I never thought I would get ours. Well we got ours in the mail today and we are leaving in 21 days I guess they have started to work out some of the kinks.


We leave for our trip on 8/20 and I have started to go crazy!!! I feel like I need to buy so much stuff and have so much stuff to do. I want to make it a great experience for my DD (6) first time. We are also taking my parents along so they can watch DD so we can go out and celebrate our 10th anniversary (we spent honeymoon at the Grand Floridian using the Grand Plan). My parents will also be celebrating their 35 anniversary as well and they honeymooned in DL.

You all are such a wealth of info. I have enjoyed everything I see here!!


Oh yeah we are staying at the Boardwalk Villas.

Your park passes will be on your room key cards when you check in. Each member will have their own.

We got our yellow tags today too! Leaving 8-21. Can't wait! I'm suprised though that the tags are so flimsy looking. Hopefully they won't get torn off along the trip.

Did all of you (or some of you) get the coupon for a free lanyard and pin? There were lots of people on the Transportation threads saying they got a voucher for a pin and I was wondering if they are still doing that.

We did get vouchers for lanyards & a pin (about 2 weeks ago) and since our party is 5 it required to envelopes- so 2 vouchers.

I just got my confirmation and it said "luggage tags" which were included. But it didn't say anything about ME

Does it tell you in your confirmation that you have ME?

We are leaving in 31 days and I want my YELLOW TAGS

Ours arrived yesterday.

Flight #s? Correct.

Resort? Correct.

Date of arrival? WRONG (a day later than the correct date).

Immediately make the TOLL call to DME. After being on hold for almost 10 minutes, get a very tired sounding CM (or Mears employee; when you calkl DME, it's never clear exactly who you are speaking with). Alert her to the date error, and ask if she can update the records. She is so worn out sounding I can hardly understand her, but I eventually confirm she supposedly updated the ME database. As for getting new documents, she literally said " don't bother requesting them, they'll never get to you in time."

So we will end up dragging our luggage to the welcome center (I don't care to start our vacation by describing our baggage)......

What do the luggage tags look like? I received 3 tags of a hard plastic with
the castle and when you move the tag a message appears...the happiest
celebration on earth. Are these the luggage tags for magical express?

the yellow tags are like a sticker that you put on the handle of your luggage. You get 2 tags for each of the members in your party
