I got my braces off today!

I went to the orthodontist today figuring he would tell me that I couldn't get them off today, but he said that today was the day! It feels so weird because I've had them on for 4 years, but I'm really happy to finally have them off.

It did hurt when they took the rings off my molars, but I was tough. XD
After that they had to scrape off all the glue, and that was just long and annoying, but not painful.

wow, i got my braces on/off so long ago. i got them on in october of 6th grade so that was 2002, and off april of 7th grade so that was 2004. I'm glad i only had them on for a year and a half.

just remember to wear your retainer. i didnt wear mine for a year and it hurt so badly when i started wearing it again.

I do that too lol. But the nurse doesn't get mad at me. They know I'm kind of a whimp. When I got my braces on I cried.

I was only 11 ok. xD

Yay! I get mine of right after school ends and then I got WDW and New York. Its going to be a good summer =D

I am! I remember right after I got them I was complaining to my mom about how much they hurt and she said, "its all worth it in the end. " and it was!

When they replace my wire, with a bigger one, they put like their entire body weight on my front teeth.
I swear they'll break off one day ;]

I've only had mine for about 7 1/2 months. Glad yours are off! I love seeing everyone so happy when they get their braces off. I'm sure you have a dazzling smile!
