I got my BCV points!!!!!!!!!!

I waitlisted last night at 9p.m. for 150 BCV points.

My guide just called and said the pts came through!!

I think it took too long (just kidding)


So now we own at VWL, VB and BCV.

We finally have power and I'm pretty happy. I posted about getting the points and then the power went out.

I can't believe it took less than 24 hours to get the points.

Yes, I was able to use MB but only because the pts came from someone who decided not to buy in or something. I explained a little about this in TerryS's post about getting her pts. I would not have been able to use MB if these came from Disney buying back through ROFR. This is what I was told.

So, we took our names off the VWL waitlist for now. We wouldn't be able to use MB for those pts or for Vero.

If anyone is looking to add on and wants MB, call your guide and see if you can get on the "special" waitlist and possibly get some pts and use MB.

Thanks again. I'm still waiting to see if our CC is going to be charged today. We couldn't use our CC's or ATM card last night.

I also wanted to say....

My guide is great! He worked hard for me when I called at 9pm wanting to add on and I had my pts the next day.

If I leave a message for him, he usually calls me back within the hour.

We have never felt pressured and he has answered a million questions.

Just wanted to say thanks. DVC is great...even more so when you have a wonderful guide.

Congrats again floridafam. Well, still on for 70 at VWL. But, I woke up thsi morning worrying about SSR again! OH MY!

Plus, I'm wondering if I shoudl ahve asked about going for 100 instead at VWL and trying to get MB.
Maybe MB is still possible with BCV, but not with VWL? Thoughts?

Also, did you find out what the difference is with down payemnts? If I ahve to put 20 instead of 10%? My guide didn't ask for a CC, shoudl he have to hold thsoe points?
I kinda wanted to pay with a check, but I wonder if I coudl lose those poinst then with them waiting for it to coem in the mail?

If I don't get these points soon I'm gonna end up having to rent them out when i get them cause we will not be able to use them until December and by then the banking deadline will be gone...

I only have to put 10% down because I am using MB.

If 100 VWL pts came through for us we would NOT have been able to use MB because Disney would have picked up those points through ROFR.

If I hadn't been able to use MB on BCV then 20% would have been the down payment. I did not want to do that. Had this been the case, we probably wouldn't have added the number of pts we did.

It doesn't look like you will be able to use MB on your VWL pts and that you will have to put 20% down. I did ask my guide all of these questions so I would be able to give you the answers. I would still double check with your guide just to make sure you are not told something different.

Are you really still thinking about SSR? Do you think that you would be happy there? I remember you posting about the feeling you had when you walked into VWL. I think SSR is going to be beautiful and I thought my DH would love it-the golf course, the spa, close to Downtown Disney, the great pool. I think maybe he will feel differently if we can actually see it in person.

Floridafam, do you mind telling me who your guide is? We've been waiting for over a week to hear from our guide about our waitlist for BCV w/ March use yr. We've called and left messages with questions and he never returned any calls. I'm getting really frustrated.
