I got married today!!!!

Thanks EVERYONE!!!! The love and support on this thread mean so much.

I posted my joy on my Facebook page and one "friend" has chosen to get all biblical on me and tell me that she is praying that I will see the error in my ways and repent my sin. Whatever. She even posted on her Facebook page for all of HER friends to pray for us as well. Double whatever....

Eh, don't worry about those kind of people, darlin'. They're hateful anyways.

NOTHING is going to dampen my joy. Lisa is my soul mate in every sense of the word. I can count on the fingers of one hand the times that we have fought over something in our 10 years together. She makes me complete. Before meeting Lisa I was in a very deep depression....dark and lonely. That is long gone. Making a life commitment in marriage is something I have dreamed of for many years and now that dream has come true. We have been together longer than one of her brothers 2 marriages combined...and yet some people feel that our marriage is a threat to the sanctity of marriage.

I am over the moon happy.....and intend to stay that way. Thank you all so much for your kind words on your "strong feelings about gay marriage."

Amen! reminds me of the "Christians" back in the 50's-60's who blocked segregation laws and supported laws making interracial marriage illegal.
