I got lucky yesterday!

Oh boy that does not sound right.

FINALLY had enough put aside that I could buy our flight tickets. Checked Delta and the price for the flights we wanted was actually down by $50 which, with the prices so high to begin with wasn't that great a deal...but still, enough that I bought in to their little scheme. LOL

Now when I buy our tickets I rarely check the prices again but did so today. Today they're up $60!!

What's that saying, one step forward and three steps back? Wow.

Anyone else having luck in finally getting the tickets they need?

Congrats! We scored some decent prices yesterday, too. But I have been too chicken to check today what they are now - so afraid they will be significantly lower and I will feel sad

Congratulations to you too! We were checking the MSP prices but they were high enough that our gas down there and one end of the trip would be an overnight and really that would wipe out any savings...so we're actually flying out of Hibbing!

HATE the prices we were seeing from all airports though.

I did get brave and peeked yesterday and the prices bounced down a bit again but they're heading back up near $600 today. Ack!!

Interestingly our flights almost always have two stops each way but this time we're only scheduled to stop MSP. That's a nice plus this trip!
