The letter arrived here at school while I was away for Thanksgiving break. I haven't accepted yet (my parents are still unsure if they want me to do it as a freshmen) but I'm rather excited. A entire semester living, learning, and working at WDW. This is basically my dream come true.

Congrats on getting in! I went through a similar situation with my parents, family and friends. Some thought I shouldn't go, but this experience is about the student, not them.

I hope you accept.

Congratulations! I'm a freshman too, and I'm doing the program next semester. My brother did it 2 years ago when he was a freshman and he has no regrets about doing it early in his college career. Good luck with your decision!
What role have you been accepted for?

Congratulations! :thumbsup2 I hope your parents let you do it.

That'd probably be one of my dreams come true too.

Is it difficult to get into this program? What are some requirements?

Not very difficult, no. Most students get in.

Requirements are that you must have completed a semester of college before you apply and be in good academic standing. Not much other than that.

Congratulations! :thumbsup2 Going during your freshman year isn't too early...you're basically doing gen. ed classes anyway, right? :) Any time is a good time to go do the CP, but you sound soooooo excited to do it now, that you should definately go asap! :teeth:

What role were you offered?

Congrats! I did my first CP my freshman year, and it was so much fun. It helped me work some things out, and now I currently am on my 2nd CP. I hope you are able to convince your parents to let you go. Good luck.

Aww you guys are so lucky. I'll never get to do the program because my school wouldn't give me credit for such a program that doesn't involve art. :P heh. I'd have to do the art internship in CA.

My school (the one I attend now, and the one I'm transferring to) doesn't give credit either. I'm just taking a semester off to participate.

I'm was an art student and did the program. But i went for the experience and the credibility. I didn't go for the credit I went to work, learn and to experience. If you really want to do it, dont' wory about the credit thing. take some time off and go.
