If you don't add the tickets then you won't get the Dining plan, you have to book the tickets.

I did I tried to book it with a 21 day ultimate but it didn't come up with free dining. I have emailed them for help on this. I just hope I can book the holiday so soon at work.

Really gutted about this. We booked next July back in June, via the website, and there was no mention of this , otherwise we'd have gone later. I called Virgin but they are unwilling to bend! Its all about filling rooms at a quieter time of year I guess. Never mind - I'll know for the future!

Just wish they wouldn't keep changing their deals!!!!:sad1: :charac2: :maleficen

I was able to change my dates to get free dining however my TA made the call so I don't know who she spoke too, or if that made any difference. The first person she spoke to though said that there was no free dining so maybe if you phone again you will get some one more willing to help you. its worth a try.

Thanks Wide, but the trouble is we've since gone and booked a vow renewal at the Yacht Club Gazebo on the day of our anniversary and, understandably, my DW is loathe to change, so guess we'll have to pay the extra.

(this trip is costing me a fortune!!! aaagh!)

Hi, not to be rude but what does it cost for the vow renewal??, we have often thought about having this done but never seen it as an option in the wedding brouchures??,
cheers steve

I think there is an upper limit to the number of days you can book with free dining, not 100% certain on this as I can't find it on Virgin's site anymore.

I really want the free dining, but I think if I get it, I may lose my deposit.....

I don't know why though, since it's with the same company if I cancel and re-book (which apparently is the only way I'll get the free DDP), and even though I would save around £400 - £240 is still a lot to lose....

I can't win - I wish someone at Virgin would have told me before I booked....

I know it's annoying when you miss an offer but it may have been Virgin didn't even know when you booked and even if they did they wouldn't let on so as to get your booking there and then =/
If I was in your place i'd cancel and rebook cos I think the saving of the free dining would outweigh the deposit loss and you can get more food than you may have originally intended to since 3 courses are included in each sitdown and dessert with CS meals :thumbsup2

If I can't get it with virging I'll get it with Disney.co.uk

I was going to suggest that if Virgin won't give it to you, you could change your booking to fly drive and then book the hotel, tickets and free dining with Disney UK.

I couldn't do the free disney dining plan from 15th September for 15 days, but when I tried it from 8th September it worked! So tomorrow I will be checking with work that I can in principle book these weeks. Its better for me anyway if there is no shut down (the two week holiday at the end of July beginning of August) I come back on afternoon shift, if there is its morning shift!
