I got Emailed a discount code!

I saw this thread and went to check my email. I have 2 email addresses, and WDW has the one that I use less often which I hadn't checked in a while. I GOT IT!!!!!!!! And I can't use it This is a way to decipher how I got it. I registered at disney.com using the email address I got it through. I am registered at mousesavers.com and with a survey I did at WDW on my other email in which I did not receive a code.

I finally received an e-mail pin code yesterday, but we have already booked a package to include the meal plan with AAA and there is $100 cancellation fee. I have NEVER received a code before and I think I know how I got one. I had a room only AAA discount booked through WDW that I cancelled because I figured there were no codes coming out, and I decided we wanted the meal plan. Then I learned on Mousesavers about the new package discount and called to inquire about it. I didn't change my AAA package to this because they didn't have any hotel rooms in the mod category for my dates. The next thing I know, I get my first pin code EVER. I think the fact that I cancelled one reservation, inquired about another, but didn't book through WDW was the reason for my code.

I received a pin code yesterday at one of my alternate e-mail addresses. I tried to remember when I had given it to Disney and I remembered... when I was at my parents I was on their computer and ordered them a free planing video, trying to perk up a little Disney interest. It required an e-mail address and I didn't want them to get spammed so I put an alternate e-mail of mine. So this code might have been meant for my dad, I don't know if I could even use it.

Ugh, I'm frustrated. Some PPs said 64 for value, 84 for mods. I just called and was told 99 for mods. The email said 64 for values. Argh. If mods were 84 instead of 99, that would save me almost $100!

Maybe they quoted you a perferred mod when you called. That would explain the $10 increase. Call again.

I always get a code when I'm not planning to visit WDW. Like this past summer we went to Disneyland and I recieved two different codes from WDW - and I just recieved a code last week for this fall. Now, our family plans to visit next summer and I bet I will NOT even get a offer.
