I just booked it for my daughter's trip and is was cheaper than the one she has booked through National. Her total is $258.84 for a week (and 1 hour). National's rates have been so high lately I'm getting very discouraged with them. I also got my ressie for a fullsize for $109 a week (before taxes) with the MAG code. Better than the $183 a week I was quoted with National.

That is a great rate, congrats! Like so many of the other codes I've seen though, it's only good for bookings through December 15th. Not much help for us Christmas visitors. National is still quoting over $500 for the week! Glad it worked out for you, have a great trip.

I'm so confused! I'm not a pro at car rental reservations yet. In fact, I'm a virgin

I put in our info WITHOUT the code and got a rate (for Dec 2 through 11) of $289 ($172 week, $38 a dat) and then realized I forgot the code and went back and did it WITH the code (COMMD) and got a quote of $303 ($189 week, $38 a day). Why is it cheaper without the code? Odd.

Also...again...I've never rented a car before Is Dollar just as good as any other rental company?

I just checked with my husband on our rate we have booked for our December trip. This code only saved us $10 but hey, all those $10 add up. He was suprised I found a cheaper rate, he thought he had be best one out there .

When I went to the site.....it came up as $172.99 a week (Dec 2nd-11th). Like I said earlier...with the code, it was more$$$. Not sure why.

Use the Orlando Magicard MAG code and you can save another 10% off on top of that!

We got a great rate at Dollar for $227.38 Full Size car for 14 days... total with taxes etc.. $304.39. no idea how I did it..... but it works out to $113 plus change (plus taxes etc..) per week. Great deal I think.

If you don't mind a short shuttle ride, I got a minivan at Thrifty for $169 / wk. I did the same this past August and was actually done faster than my experiences with the on-site rentals. Thrifty is just off the airport on 436 in the same area as Hertz.
