I got "dinged" by SWA.... what do I do next?

So I am sitting here minding my own business, running late for church cause I am DISing, and suddenly I hear "DING"! WOOHOO! But what do I do now? Should I have something in my e-mail? Or what? Guess I should have read the instructions better when I downloaded. I double checked our currently booked flights, but those prices are up, not down. How do I tell what they are "DINGING" me about?? Is there somewhere special on the SWA site to look? HELP!............P

THere should be a little icon on your tool bar... click that and the DING window opens up.

Hee hee just opened mine and I can get Chicago to Columbus Ohio for 32 bucks!! Not like I plan on going to Columbus... still a great deal

Okay, thank you, that helped... but I still don't understand how to see what is on sale. I saw the "featured" message or whatever it is called. Talked about "caffeinated savings"..... but it gave no indication of exactly what destinations are on sale. Do I just have to click around on the "book travel" end of things and see if I stumble across a good sale? I must be doing something wrong. I didn't see any link to click on or anything like that. What am I doing wrong?.............P

Once you click on the "wing" and the next window opens, then click in the middle of that window and a whole list will open.

Yeah, we got dinged with mci to chicago for $30! Our anniversary is coming up so I'm trying to talk dh in a cheap trip to chicago for a 3-4 day weekend. Never been there and it sounds fun at a cheap price! I've seen this ding a couple times, so hopefully we'll keep seeing it. I like it! Now, if they could just do a $30 deal to orlando! The orlando deals don't seem to be much lower than 80-90.

Its something through SWA for RR members. If you are a RR member you should have received an invitation to download a program for excellent deals.

Just go to www.southwest.com and download and run their new program >DING<. It is so great and will really save you money on their flights. They have a FAQ there that should answer all of your questions. HTH

Thanks to all who helped. I was able to see the sale prices. They didn't help me for now, but I will keep checking!...............P

you actually have to pick flights on dates to get the real price. the ding from chgo to orlando was $70 each way, but the roundtrip total (including taxes) pp was $126.
