I got CRT for 10/10 - anyone else?

I got through at 6:57 and got an 8:55 time for a party of 5!!! I had my choice of seating times!!!

This is not my first pick - if I get it on the day I really want to go I will be canceling this reservation (this week) so if you didn't get it - PM me and I will let you know on a first come first served basis when I cancel!

This is my third day trying- finally got my call in at 6:59- no waiting on hold for an hour- only about 7-10 minutes- and had my choice of times. I thought I had spited myself when she offered me 12 and moron me said- "do you have anything later?" I guess I was forgetting that beggars can't be choosers! We have done breakfast a few times in the past, so we wanted (ok, I wanted!) to have the benefits of the princesses while enjoying the yummy food for lunch. I chatted with her for a few moments as it finally set in- I had my PS, and I was paying long distance.... Now all the PS I have left to make is Nine Dragons (could probably call 10:59 the day before for that!) and CP lunch, later in the week, and to buy my MNSSHP tickets (which I'll do once PS are concrete). Yipeeeee! Now all the rest is icing!
Do you think this day will be busy in MK since it's Columbus Day?

DH made me laugh the other day when I told him we need to really be on the ball and have all three phones ready to go next week when we hit 90 days. He said something to the effect of "Oh, it can't really be that hard! How many people do you think are going to be calling on a Tuesday morning?"

EXCUSE ME? Yes, it CAN be that hard, and there will be THOUSANDS of people calling! Doesn't he get it?

my DH doesn't get it either -

here is my tip - I start calling at 7:56- it is too early but if I keep hitting redial - I know I will be one the first people to get through -most people start at 7:58 or 7:59 and they usually bring the phones on a few minutes before - when I start calling at that time - I have never been put on hold and gotten my choice of times

I am calling tomorrow for 10/11..this is our 1st trip. Do most people prefer the breakfast or the lunch?

The breakfast food has always been great , but the character interaction a but rushed. I would think the characters will be rushed for the lunch as well, since it is so popular and the restaraunt is small, and they have a schedule to keep. The breakfast is a few dollars less than the lunch, so if you are only going for the characters, you will save a few bucks by choosing that meal. I have never eaten at the castle for lunch/dinner, and would love to try it. The princesses are my excuse to drag DH! Keep in mind that there is another Princess breakfast/lunch in Epcot, so all is not lost if you don't get a PS at CRT. You may want to check the menus on allears.net to see which you prefer. From what I understand, Cinderella is at the Castle and not Epcot, and Ariel is at Epcot and not the castle.
