I got beat up by 3 people today...

At the orthodontist. One had to close my bracket doors so one person was pushed my tooth up, another pushing it down to hold it in place, and a third using some metal instrument to close the door. And they had to do that to ALL of my teeth. I had tears in my eyes when they finished. I have chains, rubber bands, a tightened wire, and a legal dose of useless excedrin. Ugh! I hate braces!
But, if I survive this, I get them off this summer.

Chains don't bug me.
I have one going from one side of my mouth to the other..
But yeah, I've had all of that, minus the elastics.
The worst they ever did to me, was put a ligature between two teeth, it was intense, and I literally couldn't eat anything because of it and I broke down and cried one time I was in so much pain.

I HATE braces too! My mom made me get them really early so it would be faster! There is only two other people with braces in my class, a guy who LOVES me and my bff!

I had braces, but they only really hurt the first two weeks or so.. I never had problems. I hope your mouth feels better soon.

i can't really sympathize..
my teeth are like..perfectly straight. (my friends hate me for it. plus i've only had 2 cavities in 14 years.)
and i can't really sympathize with the wisdom teeth either because i don't need them out.
but i'm sorry and i hope you feel better soon! =)

I'd go through that again rather than have braces again. I HATED those stupid things.

My mouth is a mess. I have a jaw problem that would require surgery and braces AGAIN to fix it. It makes me mad because I spent three years in braces and now they are just messed up.

I feel so sorry for ya. I just got mine off.I to had all that Stuff in my mouth, but its so worth it.I started getting my braces on when i wuz in third grade.
