I got AAA rates for December at WL

I know this isn't a transportation subject, but so many people on this board have helped me in so many ways that I thought I would tell you that I got a AAA discount at the Wilderness Lodge for December. I'm such a new person to planning this trip and knew nothing before finding this wonderful board, so probably everyone knows this already, but just in case there is someone out there who is new like me, I thought I would offer this information.

There is so much information out there I am just overwhelmed!! Thank goodness for these sites! And people like you who pass information on to us new people. I had no idea there were discounts for rooms but have seen the discounts now listed for July!!! So maybe there will be some in December too?? My husband and I visted the world several times over 15 years ago. It was so much easier then it seems now. We drove our old station wagon and got tickets so very cheap and stayed in hotels that were flashing $29.00 a night when we drove through. But now we want to stay at a disney resort and I have a disability so we can't drive anymore and have to fly and rent an ecv and wonder if we can still make it through the world. Thanks to this board I have saved quite a bit of money and have had lots of good advice. It is a much more expensive experience though than 15 years ago. Thanks again for your reply.

Lene, DW and I have stayed at WL 18 times over the last few years and plan on being there Nov. 28 to Dec. 5 this year. If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at garymerr@comcast.net

We have stayed at WDW resorts each Dec. since 1992. We have always gone the first couple of weeks of Dec. when the crowds are very manageable and the Christmas decorations are up. The WL is decorated very well during the holiday season. You'll love the resort.

Early Dec (I hope to make this my 6th time going at that time) is so nice, as said above. Great weather, low crowds, value season on the resorts (often great annual pass rates, if that is a possibility for you) and the decorations. Oh, the decorations!!!!!!

We are going early December too and I can't wait to go! My husband loves Christmas decorations so this will be a great time for us.
