I got a room!

I am so excited. We had reservations for the Polynesian and the Wilderness Lodge. Our home is for sale and I wasn't sure we'd be able to travel, so I had to cancel the DVC part of the trip or risk losing my points. Then we realized we COULD travel and when I started calling DVC again, there was NO room ANYWHERE! Yikes! I made "backup" reservations at Riverside and started calling DVC every day. Finally, yesterday there was a rooms for my dates! I was hoping for a studio in the Lodge as I had orignally planned, but a 1-bedroom at OKW was available. Gotta love OKW -- the points are so low that the 1-bedroom isn't costing me much more than the studio at the Lodge would have. So now, after 5 days at the Poly (where I haven't stayed since 1980) we will go to a beautiful 1-bedroom at wonderful OKW. Boy am I gonna do some serious laundry!

Wish us a good trip and pray my house sells while I am in Florida... We leave tomorrow. I'll report back once we're home.

Congratulations!!!!! Every day I think about our OKW 1 BR that we thoroughly enjoyed in April. Sigh...... Very, very relaxing. Hope you have a super trip!
