I got a refund from WDW!!

I came home today to find a check from WDW in my mail box. It seems that during my December trip, we were double charged for something we put on our room key. During an audit, WDW found it and sent us a check for the amount. It was only 7.50 ( a couple Mickey bars ?, I lost count), but it was still a nice surprise. A thumbs up for WDW.

I just got opened a refund check from WDW from our January trip for $12.00!! Don't know what they overcharged me for...BUT I will happily place the money in my cruise account for November! I just wish it would have been a bigger check...

It was a very nice surprise!

How exciting! It will go straight into my Disney vacation fund for our next trip!

I got one also.

I thought it was because I recently added a code to a room only reservation. The check was for roughly the difference between the two rates for one nights stay (deposit amount).

last feb (2003) we were charged for calf. grill twice $90, when we got our bill at check out i called the front desk and was told to bring my receipt and prove the charge, i went right down to the front desk and the cm said , everything looks fine, i said no i didnt eat two meals at calf. grill on the same night( as little food you get for $$$, i sure could have, but very good) finally i asked for a manager and it all got straighten out, so i can see how things get charged twice, it just happen to me at the gas station and my cc told be to go after the gas station, its time to get rid of that cc

I didn't notice that they double charged me for a purchase at Mousesavers until I looked at the room charge on the way home. I called and they took it off within days. Always double check your room charge bill.

We also received a check today........ for $72.25!!!

I don't know how we missed the double charge- but we're sure glad that they found it!!

We also received a refund check from our trip in November for a whopping $8 along with an apologetic letter. Funny thing is that I am usually a stickler and check every charge to make sure things are correct. I didn't do it this time - go figure. I am going to dig out our paperwork and recheck the figures.

My husband laughed and said that we probably were overcharged $80 and Disney is sending us $8 thinking we'll be so happy just to receive money. It's a wonder he's not a professional comedian (ha).

We received a refund for $6.00+. I haven't been able to figure it out, but I did deposit the check without hesitation.
