I got a postcard, but it wasn't the one I wanted

I got a postcard yesterday! I should be so happy, right?

Well, it was a postcard directing me to an online survey about my recent stay at the BWI. Now, please understand, I love to do these surveys. I don't know why....I just love to do the online surveys for Disney.

So, I'm disappointed I wasn't chosen for a postcard deal, but I did get a postcard!

I receive them all the time. I was also told one time after doing a survey that i would receive or be eligble for a future discount of some sort and as of today I have never received one...

For DVC saying the current special ends Feb 28th

After 10 years and 10 trips I got this same survey post card in the mail. Just my Luck a Survey, always a Survey, never a Discount..

I used to receive postcards for discounted hotel rates all of the time. Now that I need one, I never do. I wonder what triggers those cards...

I got a postcard too! BUT, alas, it was for a survey asking us how we liked our stay last month at the YC.

Oh well.....maybe next time!!

Empty resort rooms are what triggers those cards. What with the upturn in travel, especially domestic travel, I expect postcard deals will diminish, except for the rooms they are having trouble filling.
