I got a pin code!

I had even posted on the boards over the weekend that after numerous trips, being registered on all Disney sites, I had never received a pin. Well, I finally got one yesterday. 28% off a value and 39% off Old Key West or SSR. I haven't stayed in a value in years and have never stayed at OKW or SSR............ We always stay at Poly, Cont. POR or AKL. I really don't understand their methods! I want a better pin code!!! I guess I should be happy that I finally got one for anything, huh?

That is the pin I got yesterday too - my first pin ever. But alas we will be in WDW in June and would like to stay at a Moderate. Maybe we'll both get another soon!!

Hi Kimbeachy! We got that email offer too. It's a great deal, especially the 39% off at SSR or OKW. However, I don't think that email is a PIN. If you click on the link provided in the email, it will take you directly to Disneyworld.com Special Offers page. A PIN code email has a long string of numbers attached to it (15 digit number on the one we got). Somewhere on the email it should read something like this:

"Call today to book this special offer!
Please have your PIN ready:
XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX"

Regardless, the offer you got is good through 12/24/09 and it's transferable to other resorts. If you click on the "get offer details" link, you'll see that the 39% off room rack rates is the same for all the Villas (OKW, SSR, AKV, etc). It's 37% off deluxe resorts, 35% off moderates, and 30% off values. I'm pretty sure you can apply the offer to your resort of choice. Call them!

Anyway, I think it's a good sign you are on their email lists and therefore on the potential radar for current and/or future PIN offers. Here's hoping you get one that works for your family!
