I got a Kindle! How to find free books.....new question post 13

Now you can loan out books on Kindle. I never saw the official announcement but I was just looking at my library on amazon and noticed this feature online. Yay!

Where did you see this? I can't find it on Amazon.

ETA: Found it! A long-awaited great feature. You can lend a book up to 14 days only if the publisher has allowed the title to be loaned.

Just got a Nook. Are there any free books, other than the few on the B&N site?

On any given day you'll find a bunch of classics and a few other books. But if you keep watching over the course of weeks and months, you 'll see that the free books change constantly. So don't expect to go get a whole slew of books RIGHT NOW . . . But you'll get them . . . Slowly, one and two at a time.
