I really would like a countdown for my vacation but I am sooooooo computer illiterate that I have given up. I keep trying but I really don't know how or what to do. I was hoping to get it to count down to the 22nd of Jan. at 5 p.m. but I can't do it.

Awwwww, tc, I always feel bad when folks can't get what they are trying to do here. I have always told everyone that if you got here in the first place, you know SOMETHING about computers, enough to be able to learn the little things, like countdowns, given enough tries. It can be SO very aggravating, can't it!!!!!

Let the Kid help you there, I bet he will be able to help you walk through it. He's pretty darn good.

Kinda look threw all that text and find where it says you text here in two different places. Then you can change what you want it to in between the pointers.

Then highlight all the text. THen press alt then c on your keyboard (Hold then down at the same time) Or right click on the highlighted text and press copy. Then go to the big box where you edit your profile and right click in it and press paste, then click 'Submit Modifacations' at the bottom of the page and, it should be in your sig.!

You are sooooooo close, tc. You need to copy EVERYTING the Kid has there for you, from the first script to the last one, INCLUDING the first < and the last >, frome beginning to end.

See, you know how to copy, how to paste, and where to paste. You even know how to take it out of your signature, LOL. You are almost home, tc, I KNOW you will do it.

Okay, TC, I copied what the Kid made up for you and it works fine. However, you would need to edit what is there to add your own 'specs'. You have the idea, I can tell from what you posted above. I would suggest going to the Tech Board and the countdown thread and try that again. Once you do the preview part, you need to copy EVERYTHING, BEGINNING TO END, EVERYTHING, TOP TO BOTTOM.
