I fulfilled a childhood dream....

..or at least as close as possible. I saw Paul McCartney in concert last night! As a young girl in the mid-sixties, I had always wanted to see the Beatles! Paul put on a terrific show - sang a lot of Beatles tunes, Wings, new stuff. He even led a sing-along with "Hey Jude". Baby, I WAS amazed!! (Yes, he sang that one too!)

I am gonna be a bit nosey.. How were the tickets that the radio station provided? AND.. who were the LUCKY folks who got to attend the concert with you?

btw did ya have a HOT DOG while at the SJ Arena??

I gotta say, mj, I was hoping for GREAT seats! I had to pick them up at Will Call, so it was a mystery until we got in there. When I saw the section number, I was afraid that they'd be behind the stage! Thankfully, I was exactly opposite to the stage. We were about 8 rows from the top! (so much for primo seats! but, hey, they were free!) DH went with me. He sat in the car & listened to the Giants game while I waited in line.
(no - I didn't have a "death dog" as we affectionately call them! We intend to go to a few Sharks games this season - maybe I'll be brave & get one then!)

My childhood dream was to be a checkout girl at the grocery store. I never fulfilled that dream (and probably ain't gonna).
