I found the Worlds best snack!!

Yes, I searched high and low and found it - in my opinion the best snack in the World! At Goofy's in the Marketplace. I got chocolate dipped pretzel rods made fresh. One snack is three rods. You can pick the dip (I picked chocolate), and a topping that the dipped pretzel is coated in (I got 2 vanilla and chocolate mini-chips and one crushed oreo), plus you then pick another topping to drizzle. So for one snack I had the three best dipped pretzel rods ever!!

There were lots of other dipping options such as a giant oreo and many other topping and dipping choices. Go and enjoy.

Oooh! Those do sound good! And getting 3 is a great bonus--I could split an order with my 2 kids, and it would be just enough for everyone. From your description, I'm assuming each one can have a different dip, topping and drizzle? My kids would love this! Thanks!

Oh hubby will love this. I make these at home every now and then and he loves them, so I know he'll be happy to find that he can satisfy his sweet tooth at Goofy's.

We discovered Goofy's last August for the first time and I was astonished you could get those specially made snacks on the ddp. I too was thrilled and now I advise everyone I know going with the ddp to stop at Goofy's.

I haven't tried the pretzel rods there yet, but I am a huge fan of the chocolate/caramel covered apples. Does anyone know if those are on the DDP? If so, I know what I'm getting when we get the plan in May.

Unfortunately, the apples are like $5.50 and not covered as a snack on the ddp. The pretzel rods, marshmallows (on a Mickey head straw), large oreos and rice krispy treats all are though. YUM!

Included in the price is a coating and your choice of toppings. To start, you can have your treat dipped in Caramel, Milk Chocolate or White Chocolate. The Topping choices are:

Sprinkles
Chopped Peanuts
Chopped Walnuts
Chopped Pecans
Mini M&Ms

Oh dear! DD9 just read this post and wants me to find out just "where in the world is Goofy's in the Marketplace?"
She wants this snack when we go on our Mother/Daughter trip in April
I have to admit, I have no clue as to where the "marketplace" is.

Not to but I was able to get an apple when I visited last November. I had the choice of having it dipped in caramel or chocolate but wasn't allowed to get any "topping" put on it as part of the DDP. Was our favorite treat the whole trip!

Goofy's is in the marketplace section of downtown disney. You'll love it. And also on the Goofy's/chocolate dipped front - My mom used snack credits to get a chocolate covered strawberry. They only gave her one strawberry for a snack and in the Confectionary on Main Street she got a little plastic take out cup with two - but having chocolate covered strawberries almost every night was a fancy treat for her and she loved them. I also used snack credit at Goofy's for a really yummy rice crispy treat with chocolate. My sister bought Selma's cookies - really chunky chocolate chip cookies that she said are great and she was excited to find them for sale and on the plan there. Have fun. The marketplace makes a stop.

Goofy's is great. DD had the pretzel rods last week and they were huge!

AWESOME place to redeem your remaining snack credits. Any food item $4.00 and under is included. This includes bagged candy and boxed cookies (shortbread).

I can't tell you how many times over the last day or so I've responded to the statement "I'm hungry" with "would you like a peanut butter stuffed oreo dipped in milk chocolate and topped with chopped peanut butter cups and drizzled with caramel?" Or some variation thereof. Thanks for the idea I think I'll dub "how to make one snack credit last three days" or "what to do when your family members waste most of your snack credits on bottled water."
