I was at USF yesterday and used the regular line for the first time and tried following the story, but I just could not hear the televisions. Too much crowd noise inside the building.

Sorry to hear you experienced that. But isn't the ride great?

I agree. Great ride. Short on story.

Some have said here that the ride attendants outside the attraction are supposed to be rounding uo extras for a scene in the forthcoming "Revenge of the Mummy" movie. (It's not a real movie, but "Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride" is listed on the Internet Movie Database, www.imdb.com).

The preshow video does set up a story line about how the amulet is supposed to protect you from a curse and there is a sort of through line with Fraser's quest for a cup of coffee, but there is nothing that I've seen or heard so far to explain why you're getting on those "mine cars" or the purpose of your trip through the tomb.

I agree about not being able to hear the audio on the video.
Why can't Universal just add closed-captioning to the pre-show video
so that we can "hear" what the actors are saying?

Seems like a simple solution.
Or would it "block" too much of the video?
Maybe they could add it to just some of the monitors,
like Jimmy Neutron has it one just the side video, but not the one up front.

Still wouldn't help with the FOTL people who have been through the regular line,
but it would help everyone else.
